Residential Garbage Collection

City of Bowling Green:

Scott Waste Services, LLC is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential garbage collection services for the City of Bowling Green since 2002.  We provide once per week, back door garbage collection service on up to three of your own garbage cans.  Cans should be ground level (we can not retrieve cans from a porch or a deck).  We also, have 96 gallon carts available for rent.

Warren County:

We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart. Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street. Please place your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.

Logan County:

Scott Waste Services is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential garbage collection services for Logan County.  We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service.  Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart.  Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street.  Please place your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.

Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Grayson, Metcalfe, Monroe Counties:

We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service.  Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart.  Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street.  Please place your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.

Container Placement at Street

Placement of all carts at the curb is essential to insure collection by automated trucks. Place your trash cart on either side of your driveway, at the edge of the curb. Allow a minimum of five feet of clearance on all sides of the cart from objects such as mailboxes, streetlights and other carts. Carts must be a minimum of eighteen feet from any vehicles, trees and fences. Position your carts in a manner so that pedestrians can use the sidewalk.

Place carts:

When possible, trucks with robotic arms will lift, empty and replace the carts without the drivers leaving the trucks, reducing safety hazards and traffic congestion.

Please remove all containers from the street as soon as possible after collection.
