Residential Garbage Collection
Solid Waste Collection in Bowling Green and Warren County.
City of Bowling Green:
Scott Waste Services, LLC is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential garbage
collection services for the City of Bowling Green since 2002. We provide once per week,
back door garbage collection service on up to three of your own garbage cans. Cans
should be ground level (we can not retrieve cans from a porch or a deck). We also,
have 96 gallon carts available for rent.
Warren County:
We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the use
of our 96 gallon cart. Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street. Please place
your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.
Logan County:
Scott Waste Services is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential, commercial,
and industrial garbage collection services for Logan County. We provide once per week,
curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart. Please
place your cart within 3 feet of the street. Please place your cart out for collection the
night before your scheduled pickup.
City of Russellville:

and industrial garbage collection services for the city of Russellville. We provide once per
week, curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart.

Cities of Adairville, Auburn and Lewisburg:
Scott Waste Services is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential, commercial,
and industrial garbage collection services for the cities of Adairville, Auburn and Lewisburg.
We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the use of our
96 gallon cart. Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street. Please place your cart out
for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.
Allen, Barren, Metcalfe and Monroe Counties:
Mid State Waste provides garbage collection services in Allen, Barren, Metcalfe and Monroe
Counties. Please contact them at 270-651-2599.
Edmonson County:
Scott Waste Services is proud to be the exclusive provider of residential garbage collection
services for Edmonson County. We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service.
Service includes the use of our 96 gallon cart. Please place your cart within 3 feet of the
street. Please place your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.
Butler and Grayson Counties:
We provide once per week, curbside garbage collection service. Service includes the
use of our 96 gallon cart. Please place your cart within 3 feet of the street. Please
place your cart out for collection the night before your scheduled pickup.
Container Placement at Street
Placement of all carts at the curb is essential to insure collection by automated
trucks. Place your trash cart on either side of your driveway, at the edge of the curb.
Allow a minimum of five feet of clearance on all sides of the cart from objects such as
mailboxes, streetlights and other carts. Carts must be a minimum of eighteen feet from
any vehicles, trees and fences. Position your carts in a manner so that pedestrians can
use the sidewalk.
Place carts:
- Five (5) feet apart
- At least (5) feet from mailboxes, streetlights and other carts
- At least eighteen (18) feet from cars, trees, and fences
- Cart wheels as close to the curb as possible
- Cart lids opening toward street
- LIDS ON CARTS MUST BE CLOSED COMPLETELY
When possible, trucks with robotic arms will lift, empty and replace the carts without
the drivers leaving the trucks, reducing safety hazards and traffic congestion.
Please remove all containers from the street as soon as possible after collection.
Do not put these items in your garbage:
- Motor Oil
- Hazardous Waste
- Liquid Paint
- Needles or syringes
- Loose or hot ashes
- Dead animals
- Loose cat litter or animal waste (please double bag)
- Unbagged packing pellets or sawdust
- Concrete, rocks, or dirt
Commercial Garbage Collection
Container Options
We offer service on 2 yard, 3 yard, 4 yard, 6 yard and 8 yard commercial dumpsters. Service
will be tailored to meet your needs with frequencies ranging from one to six times per week.

Industrial Garbage Collection
Scott Waste Services offers several services to meet the needs of industrial garbage
collection:

Container Options:
We offer service on compactors and open top rolloff containers. Open top sizes range from
10 to 40 yards. Service can be arranged on a regularly scheduled or on call basis.
